ABOUT ME and where it all began
My name is Daniel Bennett and I'm a landscape photographer and YouTube content creator. I first got into photography through my Dad who handed me down his Fujifilm X-S1 after continuously asking if I could head out with it learning as I went along. And so my photography journey was born.
Of course at the start this was just a hobby for me but I soon realized that I had this inner love for what I was doing "Photography had found me"
Most times I do venture out as a solo photographer finding my own way through the landscape of the Lake District, but every once in a while I meet up with other likeminded photographers to share our love of the outdoors and capturing the scene that behold our eyes in-front of us. For me ill never 100% master photography, no one will ever do that so each and every time I head out I'm continuously learning and mastering my new found skills.
So come with me on this journey as we hone our skills together.
When I'm out capturing the beauty of the Cumbrian landscape, I'm reminded of why I chose to become a landscape photographer in the first place. From the majestic fells of the Lake District to the rolling hills of the Eden Valley, there's something truly special about this part of the world. Every time I'm out with my camera, I'm always looking for something new and different to capture.
From dramatic sunrises and sunsets to more subtle and peaceful scenes, I'm always trying to find the perfect composition that I can share with others. I'm also passionate about capturing the mood of the area, from the bright and vibrant colors of summer to the icy coldness of winter. I'm always looking for the perfect balance between the natural elements and the human-made elements, and how they interact with each other.
